Dr. Asutosh Pramanik

The artist Asutosh Pramanik can describe the ultimate philosophy of feeling. He is an artist struggling with the burning feelings of life. He has the ability to analyze the nature of each feeling. The joy of creation from scratch is described in abstract form on his canvas. His creation is expressed in long or parallel lines. He is also an expert in the angular division on his canvas. A fine scratch expresses the language by his artworks. Disorganized thoughts occur in arranged colors, captured on his canvas. His canvas speaks of life, speaks of creation, speaks of happiness. The color filled with emptiness became full in his feelings. The viewer, the buyer is bewildered by his creation. In the abstract use of many motifs, the use of experimental colors repeatedly resonates on his canvas, his talent is felt. With the skillful application of colors and lines, his creation gets a horizonless feeling. His canvas definitely carries an international look and value

His dynamic multi-talented personality makes him different from like other artistes. His love for art and culture inspire him to participate into artistic activities. His affection for Modern, Post-Modern, and Contemporary world art enriches his world views.

His recent fumage-acrylic paintings, asemic writings are inspired by the art works of Michael Fennell, Sheila Gallagher, Steven Spazuk and Riusuke Fukahoal. The subject is based on the co-existing multiple realities of forms and truths. This could also be described as idea of creation, evolution, death, posthumous life, para-normality and therapeutic psychopathology. These intellectual abstract ideas are often described by the motifs of birds, red dots and light of the lamps.

His subject matters are actually inspired by his daily experience. Thus, his paintings show a kind of catharsis of his experience. They show the surreal ideas of posthumous life, multiple dimensions of co-existing realities and human psyche.
